We received one of these as a housewarming gift and it is one of our favorites! So much so we just ordered one for a gift for a housewarming. My only comment is that the butcher block does stain (ie berries from a charcuterie presentation), so I am sad about that as I could not get the stains out, and made them worse by trying to do so. I also would not use it as a cutting board as you will scratch the wood. It's best as a serving piece or for display in my opinion. Despite the slight drawbacks, I love this gift and may re-order a fresh one for myself for display, and save the stained one for serving. Honestly it is a beautiful gift.
