Grandma is sure to love! By Shopper (DELTONA, FL) - December 17, 2011 My aunt, mom, and I all bought these stones with the grandkids and great-grand baby on the way's name. I am very happy with the size and weight of the stones, especially because people had talked about them being too light. I don't see them going anywhere unless we have a hurricane! Each family of kids got a different font, just to mix it up a little bit. My favorite is the one pictured (I can't remember the name). It is big and bold and exactly what I wanted. My mom picked the cursive looking font...it's pretty and you can see it, but if we did it all over again, we wouldn't pick that font.

Good quality but a bit too small By Shopper (Doylestown, PA) - December 15, 2011 This garden stone was great. It was shipped and arrived at my door only days after I ordered it. The engraving is beautiful and the stone will be the perfect Christmas gift. My only regret is that it is slightly smaller than I had presumed.

Special Garden Adds something different to the garden, people always do a double take, when they realise it is our names.

Too light weight By Shopper (Statesville, NC) - May 16, 2011 These really are nice but are very light weight & we are concerned that during a wind storm they could blow away.
Weight By Shopper (Statesville, NC) - May 16, 2011 We are disappointed that these are so light especially for outdoor use. When we have a large wind they could blow away.

Great gift idea My sister and I got this for my grandmother. The large stone said "Maw-Maw's Garden" and was surrounded by ten small stones each with a grandchild or great-grandchild's name. She was thrilled. I would highly recommend this company and this gift.

Review... By Shopper (Westminster, CA) - April 18, 2011 Product was met my expectations and the shipping was fast. Not much to complain in that area.
However, in case you didn't know, the back of this stone is hallow. It's not a real stone. This can be perceived as a good thing or a bad thing. In my case, it's a good thing because I can hide my backup keys under them :)
In terms of the quality, it didn't look like the preview picture so I was a bit disappointed. Barely though, the only thing that was inaccurate was the fact that the entire thing shifted to the left by about .5" compared to the preview pic.
Great product nonetheless, feels exactly like stone, print is readable, and it did its job.
Would buy again.

Small stone Wanted to order large stone but not not in stock. Stone writing ok but did not look exactley like pictures due to shape of stone. Still consider product a nice gift.
Nice stone but lettering not dark enough By Shopper (Wading River, NY) - September 22, 2022 The garden stone really looks like a stone but the name on the stone wasn't solidly black. Could have been darker like the other two I previously ordered.
stepping stone By Shopper (Mechanicsburg, PA) - November 12, 2021 Received as expected but my concern is wear and tear on the name. It seems the name is some material glued onto the stone rather than engraved permanently. Time will tell
i he stone I received was m0re brown and it does not match match my previous stones ordered.
Not what I expected. But was my fault for not reading all of the description of I ordered 3 garden rocks after seeing a picture of them online. I had been looking for engraved rocks to complete my collection of rocks with my kids and grandkids names on them. I basically was interested in the size and I thought these would be good.
I was shocked to see they were not real rocks and went back to read about them. Guess I will be more careful next time. I will put them with my other rocks for now.
Flatter than expected The stone was flatter than expected. I thought it would be more like a rock. But it should suit it's purpose.
A little disappointed. Thought I was getting an engraved Rock. Got a resin plaque type with stenciled letters. Looks ok but not what I exoected.
Small By Shopper (West Finley , PA) - December 10, 2017 I expected this to be much bigger. Still well done though.
Large personalized garden Stone By Shopper (Toano, VA) - May 30, 2017 I was disappointed in the product as I was expecting a complete Rock engraved. Instead it was a half shell plastic with black ink. For what it is it looks nice just not what I was expecting

Garden Stones I have ordered 19 of the garden stones (lot of money invested)I love them but they are garden stones and are outside where they do Not hold up to our weather (Florida)conditions. I've had to rewrite some of the names, sent one back (Michael) as whatever product you use to make these doesn't hold up well. The top of the stone changes & black spots come thru. They should hold up better than they do. I've even had to paint one gray.

Attractive to the Eye/Offensive to the Nose By Shopper (Maple Grove, MN) - June 28, 2013 These garden stones, though lovely to look at and light weight for easy handling, are made of a material that emits at very strong, offensive oder. I am hoping that in time the oder will lessen after the stones have been placed outdoors in my garden. However, the smell is so strong that I worry it may affect the growth of plants I have placed nearby in my pet memorial.
Not a real stone By Shopper (Kent, OH) - December 29, 2012 The size and lettering on the stone are nice. However the stone itself is hollow and has a yellowish color to it. But once you put it in the garden you really can't tell. It looks OK.

Garden Stones Housewarming Gift By Shopper (Hamel, MN) - December 14, 2012 Our close friends just moved into a newly built house and thought the large stone with their family name and year would be a perfect memory! We also ordered three small stones for the individual first names. We were very pleased with the product. The style of printing was exactly what we wanted. The small stones names came out darker and clearer than the large stone. We were a little disappointed with first "T" on "The Bixby Home". It was smeared onto the rock...we are hoping that when it sits out in the elements it will not continue to smear, or any of the other letters, or lighten up any more.

Pros & Cons to The Garden Stone By Shopper (Sugar Land, TX) - April 22, 2012 Pros- Small, very lightweight, price is excellent, writing is beautiful, color and look of the stone is very authentic and pretty. Cons- It is not a real stone/rock nor is it complete. Looking at the pics on the website I could not see the backside of the stone and I thought that it was a completely, enclosed oval stone. It is actually a half of a hollow mold with the inscription on the top. I was very disappointed to see that the stone was not completely whole actually taking on the appearance of a genuine stone/rock.
Not exactly how I pictured Generally, this product is okay, but I was expecting a full round stone. Instead, it's hollowed out along the bottom. Slightly disappointed, but will still make an excellent gift. I also would advise you to order the smaller stone. The large is much bigger than I anticipated.
stones Not all of the personalization wa centered on the stone - if the stones were not for mother's day I would have returned them. I was disappointed with the quality.
Item color I've ordered several of these stones over the last couple of years and I love them! This item was considerably darker than the other six stones I currently have. I was extremely disappointed in this. I wrote to customer service and they advised that the product was not defective. I am planning to order 6 new stones so the color matches for all of them (which is a quite expensive). Thanks!
Not the same color as prior orders Had ordered 3 stones last year,1 for each of our grand children.Just bought another for our new grandson. New stone is not as pictured ( gray ) like the other stones-has a beige/tan cast to it
Hollow “stone” Advertised as flat back. Personalized company sent three hollow fake rocks that are very lightweight and not very distinguished looming. Get what you pay for-cheap
Garden stone It's nice other than the lettering I don't think it'll last long.
Read the specifics of each product. Not what I wanted. By Shopper (Alexandria , MN) - May 18, 2018 I thought I was getting a resin shaped stone but actually it is flat and open in the back. Does not look like it will wear very well in the outdoor weather of Minnesota.
Good deal! Item is just as advertised and I am quite happy with it.
Not what I expected By Shopper (Brentwood, CA) - December 21, 2017 Unfortunately, I read the title of the product and thought this was an actual stone. I missed the small print at the bottom that it is just a piece of resin molded to resemble a stone. The "stone" in person looks like plastic, as opposed to how it is depicted in the picture on line. You can buy personalized real stones for the same price. Skip this.
Small garden stones Like they say, SMALL is the right word. I was disappointed in the actual size. Also, they were not full stones! They were concave and practically hollow in the middle.
not engraved The lettering was painted on, not engraved (which would mean recessed) as advertised. And lettering not well centered. meh
CHEAP LOOKING I received my order today and was very disappointed in the quality of both the faux stone and the BLACK engraving. The BLACK engraving looked like it was painted on the stone instead of engraved. Might I suggest a VERY DARK GRAY for future engravings. I will not be giving these to my wife for CHRISTMAS for her garden.

Prouduct features I did not like By Shopper (Downers Grove, IL) - September 22, 2015 Ordered 4 personalized garden stones with my grand kids names. All looked great in the preview when ordering! I was disappointed when I received them. The size of the fonts were the same on three but the fourth name was smaller in size. I guess the bottom line is if you have a name that has more than 4 letters it will printed smaller on the stone and there is nothing they can do. I wish that would have been noted when placing the order cause I would have passed since I wanted them to all look the same.I did receive a partial refund.
Not as pleased as I was hoping to be! They were much smaller then I was expecting! I was hoping they were larger so my mother in law could see them and make a statement in her garden.
Doesn't look like a real stone I got these for my MIL, and they are cute, but plastic and the bottom is open so it really doesn't look like a real stone/rock at all. They still turned out cute, but I would not order them again.
Nice, but.... Because I only wanted the word Welcome on the stone the font size is a little small for just the one word. If you order this request a larger size print for one word. It is also a little too high, as I would have preferred it centered. Nice quality though.
Lettering paint bad I purchased this for a wonderful family as a thank you gift. It probably would of been really cool if only you could read the words. The paint on six of the letters look like it wasn't even painted so they blended in with the color of the rock. I didn't have time to return it and wait on another so I bought permanent Sharpies and colored all the letters with it and now it looks great. Part of the name and the entire word rock were unnoticable---not like this pic.
Not a whole stone :( Was expecting a stone for my mother's garden...was disappointed to find out it's only half of a stone! They should make sure and put that somewhere in the description!

Disappointing Rock AKA Shallow Bowl By Shopper (BOCA RATON, FL) - March 31, 2023 Ordered the larger sized "rock" as a gift for a friends new home. It arrived and the engraved part was right hence the one star but it is not a "flat rock on back" as described. It would have been far more accurate to say it is shaped like a shallow bowl with thin edges and flimsy. My friend thought it was a water dish for her cat if that tells you anything. SUPER DISAPPOINTED and would never order from here again due to feeling dupped.
