Thick glass and good lettering First, I should have measured this before I clicked purchase. It is much smaller than I wanted, so the lettering is hard to read without glasses (I'm 51) But it is cute and the quality is great. The edges are not perfectly smooth, I did have to wipe them several times on fabric and use my fingernails to get all the extra etching off. I think that's just a manufacturing side effect. Would have been nice if they wiped it off before shipping, but I'm probably being picky. I'm not including a photo because it has our family last name and our first names on it. But trust me, it is small.

Great gift I got this for a gift for a friend. She loved it and even asked where I got it so she could get one for someone next year. I wish I would've done the glass one instead though. This one is really light weight.

Ms. It was a beautiful ornament. Wish it was available in other colors. Silver/grey sorta washed out the beauty of it. Yet, my granddaughter absolutely loved it!

not exactly what I thought it would be By Shopper (Dickinson, TX) - April 6, 2019 Per the photos on this site, it appears that the Family name is clear and easily readable. But upon receiving it, I found that the letters were not that clear. They were not blurry but did not stand out from the white background as much as I thought it would and as it appeared in the preview. Other than that it is fine. Maybe it's just me.

Beautiful ornament I ordered 10 different ornaments this season and usually every season. They are beautiful and make wonderful gifts. Everyone always loves them. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because instead of the pretty silver cord you usually get to hang them with this year they come with a pink ribbon that you attach yourself and I personally don't care for the ribbon. Doesn't look as festive and a little "cheaper looking" than the pretty cord. But the ornaments are beautiful as always.

hard to read The ornament looks really nice overall. The only reason I removed one star is because the names on the background are hard to read... I chose this one because the names I needed to put were too big for the "Stocking Family Personalized Ornament" that I had chosen before... when I gifted it, I had to point out the names in the background as it is really hard to read; the actual print is not as clear as in the picture in the preview photo.

Slightly disappointed By Shopper (Alma, IL) - January 13, 2015 Item was received very quickly as always. This particular item was not quite what I was expecting. I even watched all those whose names were in the ornament to see them have to really look to see what it actually said. The last name and bulb string wasnt as dark as I expected. I thought our last name would have popped more to those looking at it. Instead there is minimal difference. I will still purchase from here many more times I'm sure. Always have good luck! Just a little bit of disappointment with this product. ??

I used year as last name PLEASE DO NOT USE MORE THEN 7 LETTERS ON NAMES! This is a beautiful ornament. Quality all the way. Each year I get my kids and grand kids their own. I got this one in 2014. I used their own name as child 1 AND child 2. Had to reorder for 2 of them because their names were 10 characters which turned out to be so crowded that you couldn't read them. Reordered them and split the name into name 1 & 2 (ie Mary Beth). Of course it was at my own expense. The company did honor the original sales price and cut the shipping in half.
Have already ordered our 2015 ornaments.
I love this company and use the every year.

There is lots of glass etching and some spots were missed...I've etched before so I can see how easily this happens - lots of lettering can be difficult. I am a very picky person and I still give it 4 stars.

Writing hard to read Ornament is gorgeous but was smaller than I expected. The preview was a lot easier to read than the actual ornament. Still a great gift for my mom.

Family Circle Ornament I really like this ornament. The only negative is that it is a little smaller than I expected.(about 3 in. in diameter) It will look nice on a tree. I'm sure the family for whom I ordered it will like it!

My first item purchsed here and wont be my last :) The Family Circle Personalized Ornament appearance is unique. Requested for my boyfriend and I names and stating Our First Christmas, as well as the year with a special message on bulbs. Worked out Great!
Item is a bit thin which was the only issue I had other than that I will recommend this item to anyone.

Due to the personalization being on glass, it can be a little difficult to read depending on the lighting. Overall, it was a big hit with my entire family. My husband thought it was just fantastic to be able to have our names on an ornament like that.

Great memory! I gave several of these this year to my boss (with the names of people on our team) and to my walking group; again with all our participants on it. Cool gift! My rational for 4 stars is that there is not enough space to add additional names. I had to be creative in fitting in the names that I did add and had to leave a few people out. Having the option for more names would be nice.
