 GREAT PRODUCTMy Boss loved this - he spends a lot of time with his patients and I mean A LOT! the only thing I wished is if the writing could have been a different color so it could have been seen. that is why I gave it 4 stars, otherwise it's a perfect gift.

 HourglassMy coworkers and I ordered this as a gift. Presentation was nice. The quality was not as I had expected. Seemed somewhat fragile. Would have been nice to have a sturdy base or box for display. The ends are flat, but I can see it tipping easily and possibly breaking. The personalization was very nice.

Hourglass Etching was very small.....hard to read. Only one end of the hourglass was etched and I didnt realize that when I purchased it. My fault for not noticing. Nice quality, presented is a beautiful satin lined gift box. Lot of money for something you're not 100% satisfied with.

It’s all right... I don’t love it, but it’s nice enough for a present. It’s a little too big for my taste, and also kind of wobbly. The bottom surface isn’t flat enough for it to stand firmly. It would be easy to knock it over. You can get an hourglass anywhere, the quote and personalization are what make this one special.

It okay By Shopper  (Greenbelt, MD) - September 21, 2017 The packaging was amazing and you can even keep the box which is nicely shaped and padded to take this item wherever you go. I rated this a bit low because the wording really small print/fine. Even if you put one name or choose a really short message, somehow the message doesn't pop and not very reader friendly. I had to turn my head or try to hard to read the message. lol Looked more appealing in the picture than in real life.

Sand hourglass It's nice but I feel that it should have a base for it, also the glass at each end should be wider.

Hourglass gift for various uses By Shopper (McAlester, OK) - February 3, 2014 I purchased this as a birthday gift for a friend, and it's a good choice with the wording. I had hoped it would would be a good hostess gift for my son's engagement party, but it's definitely not. Previously I had purchased the initialed trays for another son's hostess gifts, and everyone loved it. We have also given the personalized family frames to friends and co-workers who faved for years. However, this didn't hit the same mark. The hourglass size is good, but I'm not crazy about the swirled design. Previously I have given hour glasses to retiring club officers, thanking them for their time. A base which you could engrave makes a much more striking item. Perhaps you could add that to your list.

ok product By Shopper (Houston, TX) - April 15, 2013 I purchased this for a Dr friend. It was smaller in size than I thought and the wording was also smaller than I imagined. Though it's a nice gift, It probably wasn't worth the price.

 Hard to see letteringBy Shopper (Kettering, OH) - October 17, 2016 The concept of this gift is good but I think it would be much better if you had a choice of different colored lettering. The white is VERY hard to see, especially when you have the white sand behind it. Also, some sort of base would be nice since it sits a little unsteady on the desk.

what was not liked It is very difficult to read the etched on inscription in WHITE when it is a glass hour glass with WHITE sand! My father needed a magnifying glass to read
the inscription. Don't you think black sand would have been more appropriate or black lettering which would have made much more sense??

I still love it because I do have a son Timothy. I was in the process of ordering this for him but changed my mind. His birthday isn't until next January so I will put it up until then. Just a little disappointed.

Sand filled hourglass Was very disappointed in the lettering on the hourglass. Hard to read due to lettering not bold and bright enough.

Dissatisfied Bought a personalized hour glass. The item was delivered completely shattered. Item was packaged very poorly for being a glass item. I was issued a refund.
