This is a beautiful Frame. The problem is the writing is to small and to light. I had to put something dark behind the frame in order to see what was written. Other than that it is a BEAUTIFUL gift.

This is the first Christmas my fiance and I have been able to share together, because he is Active Duty Air Force, the last two Christmas' he was in Afganistan and Germany. We are both pretty easy to please people, and decided that this Christmas we would go in together on a big screen TV for our living room, but I still wanted to do something special from the baby. I searched and searched and this seemed perfect, even more so because I actually wrote the poem out with my son in mind. The only problem I have is that the font is pretty small, which is fine for my fiance, but for an older grandfather with bad eyes, it might be a problem. Other wise, it's pretty amazing. And I agree with other reviews, I would have preferred if the trim was in silver instead of gold. And I was pleased with the shipping. I ordered it on the 12th and it arrived on the 18th.

The only reason I don't love this item is because it doesn't come with a silver finish. I don't love the gold finish around the picture. Other than that I really like it!~

The picture and frame would have been better had the print been bigger and more visible. The print is light and small which negates the purpose of the engravement.

I bought this for my father for father's day. It is nice but if you choose to write a lot of things and take up the amount of allowed lines and charachters, the size of the words is smaller and harder to read. If I do choose to repurchase, I will definitely write half of the allowed amount.

When I first saw this on the website, I immediately knew this was the gift I wanted to give to my dad. It came on time but when I opened it up, I was a little disappointed. The picture on the website makes it look like you can clearly read the poem. The actual product, well, not so much. The frame itself is glass with a real light white lettering, so in order to read it you have to get rather close.

Item was not what I expected. The font is so much smaller than it looked on here based on the picture and while it is correct as I designed you can barely be read. The layout of the item is nice but would have been a beautiful gift if he could and read what it said. We have to put something colored behind it so it could be read.

Second time I've bought something clear like this, the first time wasn't so bad but with this frame the writing is pretty difficult to read. I'm not sure my dad will even be able to see it, he's colorblind to begin with and there's just not enough boldness to the lettering on this, not like pictured. (I buy a lot from here and this is only the send item I've been disappointed in).

Great quality! My only issue is how tiny the font is.

Impressive but difficult to read... had to keep a paper behind to be able to make out what it is saying. Really want to spray paint on it... But it is really elegant and beautiful.

The frame is very nice. It would have been nice to have the option of silver vs gold. That being said the frame is very nice but very difficult to read the poem. The words expressed the sentiment exactly but again it lost the effect when he had to look for something to put behind it to read. There were 20 people in the house and all of them had a hard time reading the poem.

The Gold around the frame is a little cheap looking. The writing is REALLY small and a little difficult to read. I think this product is a great idea, but it's over-priced.

This is a very pretty piece, however, the GOLD frame for the picture is hideous! It would be so much prettier with a silver framed border. The gold is just ugly & way too shiney..it makes this pretty piece look cheap!

I love this product; however, the light color of the writing makes it difficult to read. i would have preferred it to be darker. but, if i remember correctly, i was not given the opportunity to change the font color. this really took away from the product's beauty and meaning.

I purchased this engraved frame as a gift for my father's 80th birthday. The lettering is extremely hard to read on the clear background. The picture (and the sample image they send you of your finished product) is set against a dark grey background to deceptively draw out the contrast of the engraving. If the recipient doesn't have a similarly shaded wall to display the picture in front of, the words are virtually illegible. I may have to put some colored paper behind the glass to make the lettering stand out.

The gift wrap was also very shoddy, save yourself the $5 expense.

There is no contrast on this piece at all. All one color/shade. You have to hold/place the item a certain way just to see the words. No effort made in contrast/color. The way they package their items is another lack of effort.

The frame itself isn't awful, but the engraving is near impossible to read. It ends up making the whole thing look cheap. Even though I bought on sale, it still wasn't worth the money I spent on it.

The frame is beautiful. Unfortunately it is very difficult to read the script since it's done in white. I would recommend using a darker color to make it easier to read. Thank you.

I am very disappointed with the product. The poem is barely visible it is very hard to read the words on the frame. The picture on your website displays the words clearly but it is impossible to read from the actual frame. I do not recommend this product it did not meet my expectations.

Expected a better laser etching. It's very faded out, the font size is microscopic and the golden edging for the picture insert has a very tacky finish. My first purchase and my worst fear come true - never personalize, you can't return the product if unhappy.

This gift was for my dad's 90th birthday, I am very unhappy with it. You can't read the poem on glass. You should let your client know the print won't show up. I tried putting black paper behind it, not good. Very disappointing.

You can BARELY see the engraving on these frames. Sure it's easier to see in the photograph on this site when they have it placed in front of a dark background (notice how the shade grows darker once it gets behind the engraving - that's because it's almost impossible to see). The whole purpose of getting something like this is for the engraving, since you can't see it, it's worthless. I am far too embarrassed to give these frames to my parents and will have to spend even more money that I don't have on a different website to get better gifts.

It's a nice idea... but the engraving is SO hard to see. There's no way my dad's going to be able to read this with his old man eyes. An option to choose a color for the wording would have been nice. It's definitely not as easy to see as in the photograph, that's for sure!

the frame was nice - but the poem was so small NOONE could read the words - it is completely misleading in the picture - it looked like a frame with scratches on it instead of the poem - i am sorry i got it

I don't like how the stand isn't attached to the picture part of the frame so if you move it you need to be careful not to drop it. also, the words are very hard to read and thats the main point of this gift.
