Nice gift for a knife lover! Besides being personalized, making it a memorable keepsake, the knife has a decent weight to it and is balanced and solid, with a smooth mechanism. It is very good quality for the money, which I was hoping for. The seatbelt cutter and glass breaker add to it. Not to mention it looks great, too! The only thing I wish I hadn't bothered with was the gift box. The cardboard is thin and flimsy, and didn't fit the knife very well. The recipient was surprised and really loves it.

Cool! Knife is sturdy - tight on the locking action but that usually loosens over times so tight is the better starting point. Has a nice feel in your hand! Groomsmen Gift The groomsmen consisted of a hunter, ex-military, a machinist, and a generation that was raised to always have a pocket knife on-hand. So, this was the perfect gift for the group. The knife is a nice weight, which I'm sure will be useful if the window-break feature is ever needed to escape from an automobile wreck. The lettering really shows against the brushed black finish of the knife handle. With one hand, the blade can be easily opened and closed. Amazing Knife I got this knife for my husband as a wedding gift in 2011. He was so excited, no body had ever gotten him a knife before - something I didn't know until then. He took this knife everywhere for years. Well this past April we went to Gatlinburg TN and rode a Go Cart ride and he lost it. He was heart broken. We are both avid hunters and hikers and have gotten quite the collection of knives since I purchased him that first one years ago. Out of the dozens of knives we have purchased or received this was his favorite. Not just because his name was on it or was the first one he ever received. It was best knife he had. It was easy to sharpen, doesn't stick when you try to open/close it so there is no fear of accidentally cutting your finger off and the one he had for almost 6 years before I purchased the new one for this birthday, looked brand new and the edge was great despite all the use he got out of it from cutting food on the trail, to using it as a screwdriver. A must have for us!
