It's a Print By Shopper (Upland, CA) - February 18, 2020 It's a print on a wood plank. So much so that there was a small piece on the plank before they printed over it, the piece came off and now there's a tiny portion of no print. Decent for the price I guess. Fast shipping, too.

Just ok The product I received did not look like the advertised picture so I was disappointed. It was still cool hence the 3 star rating but I would not have bought it if I knew it wasn’t going to look like the picture. Also the heart was not centered on the plaque which was not satisfactory to me.

Disappointed The description wasn’t real clear on how the finished product looked. The picture online looks more 3D but instead the surface is flat with no 3D to it at all. It looks nice but different than pic online

Cute but cheap and cheesey Product is just a salad of cheap wood with an image laid on it giving an illusion of a carving. It's all ink. Like others have said it's a bit dark too.

Printed Wood I was a little disappointed by the quality. In the picture it looks like it has more depth and texture. It is obvious that it is just a print with shiny ink.

A Little Disappointed When I purchased this product I assumed there would be an indent with my message carved into the wood. Not the case. It’s an image printed on a piece of wood, big difference. For the price I paid I’m pretty disappointed, I can get something like this at CVS for under $20. So nothing wrong with product, just not what I was expecting, looks cheap and cheesy.

Reminder of Years Passed By Shopper (Granada Hills, CA) - February 8, 2019 I was really looking forward to receiving this item. Was somewhat disappointed when it was received with a slight imperfection. I asked my very handy husband re-attach the chipped bark. Other than that it will serve us as a reminder of the years passed with fondness.

Not as appears By Shopper (Benicia, CA) - February 4, 2019 A picture is worth 1 thousand words, well, not always. The picture for this item makes it appear that it is carved out of a log or the side of a tree. The description misleads the buyer to believe that the bark is real bark. There is real bark, but only on the sides of the plank - not the face portion surrounding the heart. It does not look anything like the item online. It is merely a printout. I gave it 3 stars, because I should have known, based off the price. That and my wife loves it. If you don't have the picture for comparison, it's alright.

Wood plank I was excited that the image was on a real plank of wood, but was disappointed when the product arrived because big chunks of the bark were knocked off. I feel like someone should have taken better care to not damage the wood plank.

not what i expected This has a smooth finish, it is not as shown in the picture in my opinion. It is not carved, as I expected. It is like a picture, not a piece of wood. Still a nice gift, got to me on time and the names and dates were correct.

Meh Should have looked at the photos to see what it would really look like. Seems kind of cheap compared to the rest of the products I bought. Girlfriend liked it so that's all that mattered i guess.

Cute but misleading pic The picture makes it look as if is rounded like it is cut right from the tree and that the heart is etched right into the bark but it's not it's an actual plaque with a printed picture of a hear and the names in the middle of the heart. Realistic tree bark is on the sides of it to make it look like it came from a real tree. Was hoping for something more authentic.

It’s ok When I first saw it I thought it was an actuall carve out on piece of tree. Then I read reviews and realized it was a plank of wood with a print out pasted on. According to other reviews, I went ahead and bought it but when they came in, I wasn’t pleased. I would not recommend it.

Cute but Crumbly The look of the piece I love, but when I got it, the bark was chipping off the sides--I'm glad I was able to get all the excess off before giving a crumbly gift to my husband!

looks real I really do like it but they should suggest having the print bolder the year I can barely see and the name are eh okay but could have been boulder print there is a lot of black in the name/year area making it hard to see their photo does not have all the black background as mine does

"So In Love" Personalized Basswood Plank from the picture I thought the product would be more realistic than it turned out to be. It was O.K., I probably would have picked something else if I'd have known. It was cute, so I did keep it.

Not Entirely Wood The base/back looks like wood the front is just a screen print of wood with your personalization on it. It might look ok from a distance.

Cute but small It looks how I pictured it would from reading other reviews and the products description, except that it is a bit smaller than I would have thought. Before ordering I looked for measurements but I didn’t find any. I got it anyways and I am pretty pleased with it, I love the wood on the sides.

Too dark By Shopper (Wantage, NJ) - January 29, 2018 The middle of the heart is so dark when I received it that you cannot see the names without being up close. I have it on the mantle over my fireplace and it is hard to see without additional light right on it like the flash from my camera.

product features The personalization was way to light due to the dark coloring of the log. Could not read the date at all. Customer Service was not helpful at all! Very disappointed in the product and the customer service received.

Decent By Shopper (Shirley , MA) - October 30, 2017 Board is flat out the front, not 3d as I originally thought, but has bark like texture on the sides. The first one I received had a mark on the front like an ink streak that covered some of the writing, I contacted customer service and got a replacement a bout a week later, which was a little frustrating because I originally paid for overnight shipping. The replacement had a mark in the same spot in the same shape but it was faded not an ink splotches. Looks like maybe aa printerprinter issue

nice! putting a full date as in oo/oo/oooo would have earned this 5 stars. also dont be tricked into the $5 offered to give your e mail. they wont let u use it if u have another coupon, which they dont tell u up front. thus 3 stars here.

Basswood plank The picture looks as if heart/carving is indented in the wood,but when I received the item it's all flat even piece. Picture is a little decieving. Quick process and turn aroung time though.

Disappointed The heart is not carved out like it seems to be in the photo, nor are the names. This product could have been really neat if both of these items were truly engraved. The appearance of the tree looks pretty neat though. Just a little disappointed. Thank you.

Not what I hoped The plaque is not as natural looking as the picture on website. The high gloss finish makes it look cheap. The names do not look like they were etched, but are photo copied on the plaque. I bought it as a wedding present, but don't think it is nice enough to give. Very disappointed

Wood carving By Shopper (Reading, PA) - February 13, 2017 It does look nice. But I thought it look and feel a little like wood. It doesn't. Kinda looks like a piece of plastic. Wish the description would have told more about what the texture.

Ruined it with marker pen writing Looks real, like it was carved out of aged tree, but then they messed up the entire illusion by using a black marker pen to scrawl msg, rw+js 2014, onto this beautiful piece of wood. Cheapened it significantly. Very very disappointed. Some effort could be made to print a 3d type effect as if initials were carved, you'd think. Would recommend anyone to order it blank and do the rest yourself. Fo sho.
