 looks nothing like picture By Shopper  (wilmington, DE) - June 1, 2015 I ordered this for my sister-in-law's wedding shower. I was hoping for a awesome and unique gift. Even though it stated that it was not real wood, I did not expect it to look like something my grandson would make at school. If the price was 9.95, I would not feel so bad, but 30.00 I was extremely dissatisfied. It in no way looks like a carving on a tree.

Not what I was expecting This product was not what I thought it was. From the picture, it looks like it is carved from wood. In reality, it is a flat piece of wood that is copied on the surface. Very disappointed

Not What I Expected By Shopper (Wethersfield, CT) - March 30, 2015 I didn't read the description fully because I was shocked to find this is a flat print on a piece of wood. I wanted a carved piece of wood not a picture. This is not what I wanted. My fault for not reading the full description.

Unimpressed In person, it appears like a picture of a picture of a piece of wood someone Photoshopped a knot into, then scribbled on. Not worth the price.

Not what it seems This item looks like it is carved but it is not. It is a photo and looks super cheap. Tried to return the item and they wouldn't take it back. 100% not satisfied.

I don't like it I purchased something similar to this a few years ago and I loved it. This was not what I expected. The product picture is misleading. I'm a little embarrassed to give it to the recipient because it looks so cheap. Highly disappointing for so much money.

Such a cute idea...such a disappointing product Too bad...I purchased something like this a few years ago and it was darling...really carved in the wood, so I thought this one would be just as cute...it wasn't. Very disappointed and may not even give it to the person.

Cheap looking I am very disappointed in the quality. The wood that this is imprinted on is nice, however, the "imprint" of the two names is a blurry, off-centered photo put on the front of a piece of wood. The picture is slightly off centered and the photo is slightly blurred. I couldn' be more disappointed in a product. This is the third item Ive ordered from here. The first two were great BUT this last one made me decide never to purchase again from this website. And I will post this review whenever necessary.

Not at all how it appears. I was absolutely heartbroken when I recirved my plank in the mail. It looks nothing like the photo advertised. It looks cheap; like they just printed of the personalization on a piece of paper and stuck it to the board. I contacted custom service to as for a refund or find out if my plank had just been made wrong. I was told that there was nothing wrong with my order and I could not have a refund. Basically that I just had to deal with it. But that they I hope I shop with them again! Dont Buy!

Does not look like picture!!! By Shopper (Lewiston, ID) - September 20, 2014 The picture does make it look three dimensional, but it is a very poor quality screen pic glued to a wood plank! Cheap looking and not suitable for a gift. Pixels are visable and ink pale in comparison to pic. Huge waste of money. Do not buy!!!

Not real By Shopper (Tampa, FL) - April 13, 2014 It has an unrealistic look, it doesn't look like the picture. I was expecting a real cave piece of wood, I got a paper with our name on it. Not what I was expecting.

Not what I expected I suppose I should have read more before buying this. It appeared to be something done with a wood burning tool, but when the product arrived it is laser printed on a wooden plank. There is no depth to it, not like the depth shown in the preview or example. I guess it's nice quality for what it is, but not at all what I expected.

JUNK less than a 1 star! By Shopper (Ironwood, MI) - February 12, 2014 Received my order today. Realized the outer piece is real wood it does "flake" but there are chunks falling off before it was even taken out of the packaging. Make sure to read that it is not a carving but a terrible photo of a carving glued to a chunk of wood.

So in love The product looked great and real on the website, but when I received the product, it looks awful. I cannot hang this in my home. Pixels are off too. Do not purchase this product.

disappointing I ordered several of these planks for myself and friends. They should be more descriptive, and they need to refil their inkjets because it is an actual piece of wood with a washed out picture of a carved area glued to the front. It was very disappointing and not a gift that I would ever give. It looks nothing like the picture, you can tell its a computer generated picture clear across the room.

LESS than ONE STAR I am not satisfied AT ALL with this product. It has almost no weight (was shipped in a bubble-wrap envelope which I thought was empty), and the colors are so dull that it makes the lettering almost impossible to read. What little "bark" there is comes off every time you touch it, and the "wood" is so soft, you don't even need a hammer to attach the "hanger." You can take your finger and just press it in the back. I bought this for myself, thankfully, because if I had purchased it for a gift I would be too embarrased to use it.

Title was deceiving By Shopper (Seattle, WA) - January 27, 2014 I should have read the description… I actually thought since the title said “Carved In Love” that this product would actually be carved. It's cute but it's more of a "gag" gift rather then something to cherish. We put it outside on the porch since I'm not worried about it getting ruined or stolen.

Not actually carved - a picture of a carving By Shopper (Livonia, MI) - January 27, 2014 Really disappointed in this item. I thought I was buying a hand-carved piece of wood. Instead I got a screened image of our initials. I have purchased from Personalization Mall before and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, not this time. This item is so cheap and hokey looing, I'm surprised you carry it. It's worth under ten dollars, not twenty something.

Disappointed Have purchased many items from personalization Mall and this item is the worst. Very cheap looking and I am embarrassed to give as a gift I purchased for a newly engaged couple. Handwritten in marker and the letter 'a' actually looks like a 'd'. Flat surface instead of cut out. Would like to return it, waste of $34 with shipping!!

Poor quality - extremely disappointed! By Shopper (Simpsonville, SC) - December 29, 2013 This was to be a gift. It is a photo overlayed on particle board, with a crafted bark on the sides. The photo does not match the rest of the piece, as well as there being a gap on the sides, which lends to a very cheap and quite fake appearance. I do not recommend!
