The stitching & the beautiful lettering ( the color "ruby red" was so vivid) was just perfect. Can't wait for them to see it next week. She opened it last night and I thought she was going to cry! I'm pretty sure it is her favorite gift..it is very soft, and the dark brown wording looks amazing! I'm so glad it turned out so well :-)

However, I purchased the fancy gift box for $8 to make the gift perfect and the box arrived crushed and a poor topping for such a beautiful gift. I would not recommend purchasing the extra packaging as it degrades the quality of the gift.

Superb My wife and I were more than pleased with this afghan. My sister and her husband will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in June, and I can't wait to see the smiles on their faces when they open this gift. This product was far more than we had expected it to be. The mettalic gold thread stands out so beautifully on the beige colored afghan. We also ordered the gift box which is very nice; however, we would have preferred to have had a gold box and/or ribbon rather than black. The promptness in the delivery surpassed our expectations. Very classy look! We bought this afghan for my husband's parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. The names and date came out very clear and it looks absolutely beautiful. 22 years of use and still good condition My daughter-in-law bought this for me 21 years ago for a Christmas present. It had all my grandchildren's names on it, saying "Grandma Gang". The most wonderful gift. Now to the good part, I have washed this throw and dried it in the dryer more times than you can imagine, my grandchildren loved to use it because their names were on it. It is still in great condition and now it is being used for my 2.5 yr old great grandson, that I babysit while my grandaughter works. He loves it because his mommy's name is on it and he says it's his and mommys. It is light weight, but durable.

Very Pleased I read most of the reviews regarding this product before ordering, and although most were positive there were a few negatives which made me hesitate; however, I decided to go ahead with the majority and ordered, which I'm very happy I did. The stitching is beautiful, with the gold lettering sparkling, which was an added bonus I didn't expect. Some complaints were about the size, but it was as big as I expected. The size is which you'll normally find for a throw in a retail store. I believe the price may be a tad high, but for a special occasion gift the overall quality and the beautiful stitching makes it worth it.
