Great product once engraving problem rectified - poor quality control By Shopper (Sandia Park, NM) - December 9, 2018 The compact is pretty and very durable. I gave a rating of 4 because there was a problem with the initial shipment. I ordered 3 compacts for gifts with customized engraved messages. The engraving on each compact was unsatisfactory. I called customer service and complained that the inscription was so miniscule that I needed a microscope to read it. Apparently, a computer problem engraved the message in one line across the back of the compact rather than in 4 lines as shown on the website. Where is your quality control? You did not think I would notice? Fortunately, the customer service rep was prompt to resolve the problem and I received 3 new compacts with the proper engraving in 4 days in time for my party.

shiny I got this for my mom for Mother's Day. She really liked it. The engraving was perfect. The size was good. One mirror is normal the other side is for magnification. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the outside, where it is engraved, is shiny. I was under the impression that it was matte based on the pictures. The shiny surface collects fingerprints.
