Yes, we can get a mirror anywhere, but these have our names and a personal inscription. That's a bonus! They are sturdy. Someone else reviewed they are hard to open, that is a fact. I'm hoping over time it will loosen up, and not be so hard to open. It's a mirror on the outside too, if all else fails??

Pretty compacts I wanted a personal item for my grand daughters that had meaning. The compacts had their names on them and a scripture verse that said, "You are fearfully and wonderfully made..." Psalms 139:14 It turned out really nice.
