Personalized coffee mug Put my dad's photo, and gave to my brothers, and sister. Some of the words were not printed all the way down on the poem, I picked to put on there. They still loved it since, it had my dad's photo on it.

Fit the need but just ok Paid for expedited shipping so maybe they didn't have time for quality control. Mug is nice quality, picture came out as expected but typeface was thin and readability is poor. We gave as gifts anyway but will look elsewhere next year.

Mug I've ordered these in the past with no issues and they looked great! This year one was delivered with such faint color you could barely see image. I complained and a replacement was sent out ASAP and received before Xmas. Quality control was lacking a bit this year

Disappointed I bought this as a Christmas gift for my father. I opened the box prior to wrapping it, and discovered that my father will need a magnifying glass to read the poem on the back of the mug. In other words, the font should have been larger!

Picture is nice font is tiny Maybe it was becuase I had a lot of writing... But the font is so small and it clearly had a lot of room on the mug to make it bigger. The preview before I purchased it made the font look a lot bigger than it was. Other than that the quality of the mug and picture are great.

Grandpa Coffee Mug By Shopper (Grand Island, NY) - July 12, 2015 We chose a great picture to put on this mug for grandpa. and we wrote our own verse on it. Although it looked great, the print was very, very small. You basically needed a magnify glass to read the poem on it. Other than that, it was great.

Disappointed I ordered a few mugs as gifts this year. The quality of the cup itself is nice but the writing came out really small on this one, too small to read. I reviewed it before placing the order but somewhere it got mixed up along the way.

Writing small Writing was very small about the size of 8 in a printed word document. The picture came out nice and mug had nice quality.

Picture Mug I really like the picture, but the font is too small--it has to be 6 or 8 pitch! I was extremely disappointed when I opened the box!

Letters too small Picture is okay. But you can barley read what the message says because the words are tiny and not a clear font:(

I emailed them and got a response saying I exceeded the character limit for the lines. Which is ridiculous bc I had a very small verse.

Writing too small By Shopper (Saint Paris , OH) - October 26, 2016 We ordered this as a gift and the photograph came out nicely on the mug. But the writing is SO small you need a magnifying glass to read it. I sent an email asking them to fix it and they told me I exceeded the character limit for the lines. Which is ridiculous because I had a very small verse and had no indication I had exceeded the character limit. I went back in to do a mock order and there is no option to make the font larger. BEWARE.... your writing will turn out microscopic!

Writing too small The product itself is nice but the writing was way too small. There appeared to be plenty of room to increase the font size. I was almost embarrassed to give the gift. It was a gift for my sons uncle and they chose to go ahead and give it. I have ordered from Personalization Mall many times over the past few years...have never had any complaints until now. I would still order from them them.......just not this particular mug.

Big Mug Small Letters The mug itself is of good quality but the font and size of the lettering was super tiny and I mean tiny the size seen in photo is not the size of lettering I received and there was not an option to resize. Worst case scenario write in all CAPS.

 Not as expectedThe customized image doesn't wrap all the way around so if you chose a black background image expect the handle to be awkwardly white. Also the print is so tiny it's unreadable.

Images not visible The advertised image of my black mug showed the photo section to be white. When I received 3 mugs, the dark colored bodies of the dogs images were not visible. I requested to return the mugs and was told I could not because I had approved the proofs. After I sent pics of the mugs, I was offered the option to reorder the mugs at a 50% discount. I will not use Personalization Mall again.

Looks nice on website but so disappointing By Shopper (Seaford, NY) - December 14, 2016 When I received mug in mail I couldn't even read the lettering on the mug they were nice enough to send me a new one and recommended I write less. Ok so I fixed it to have less words when I received new mug still can't read some words and my picture looks like my daughter has a rash all over her face so so unhappy.

Different in person By Shopper (Springfield, VA) - December 13, 2016 I was so disappointed with this purchase. I have never been unhappy with items from personalization mall, this is a first. The proof that I looked at has the font looking larger on the mug, thus making it easier to read. When I received the mug today, the print is so tiny, yet there is so much empty space still on the mug. So disappointed, won't buy this again.

Text is VERY small and not legible By Shopper (Jersey City, NJ) - December 3, 2016 Pros: Product shipped and arrived very fast
Cons: the text is SUPER SMALL and can barely be read. Planned to give as a gift to my elderly parents but I'm certain they won't be able to read the personalized notes. I ordered two and both showed up with the tiny text... I'm talking size 6 font or smaller!
Also, my photo of 4 people basically blended the 4th person out. Pretty disappointed bc I was so excited to gift these.

Picture Not Centered By Shopper (Pineville, LA) - June 24, 2016 I was very disappointed and embarrassed when I opened this cup. The picture was not centered and half the face was cut off. They tried to say it was my cropping, but it was not allow me to center photo during cropping. I had just hoped it would come centered. It was embarrassing to give as a gift.

Zero customer service! Although a good idea of a gift, but it's not user-freindly at all and I'd rate their customer service as zero.
First of all, if you want to write a poem or anything all your writings will be automatically right justified unless you choose certain types of mugs and then you can only write maximum two or three lines.
Secondly if you possibly make a mistake, which we as humans do at times, there's no way you can contact them to correct it even immediately after your order, they will say it's on its way, but you know as well as them that it's not even anywhere near to be made!
Would I use them again! Possibly not!

Photo not centered I ordered this cup for a very special person for father's day, because he was not able to be with his kids on that special day. When I received the cup, the photo was not centered. It was a picture of father and son and the son had half his face cut off because it was not centered properly. Very, very disappointed.

teeny tiny type and little room for photo By Shopper (Milford, OH) - December 27, 2015 So frustrated with this purchase. The size of the text is soooo small it is completely illegible. Why didn't they limit the characters per line to allow for a legible font height!!? Ugh. And the black background cuts significantly into the photographic image. This was a gift to someone and it was embarrassing and frustrating and sad. I'm surprised this kind of lack of design consideration was found on an item from this site. We are usually more than satisfied with our purchases. Bummer.

Beautiful By Shopper (Taunton, MA) - December 24, 2015 I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I put a picture of him and our daughter on it with a little poem. It came out beautifully and I can't wait to give it to him!
