I did not get the rubber tray, I was afraid that may be a tripping hazard. The rug itself is great, it's a heavy material, doesn't bunch, doesn't move. door mat I have purchased door mats before on this site years ago, but these by far are your best because the rubberized reverse side is firm, and does not shift with movement at all.

It does have a strong rubber smell when you open the box, but I'm sure once it's put outside, that should dissipate. I ordered the tray also, thinking the mat itself would be too small...wrong! I could have saved the extra $$$$, but the more I looked at it once i got it, I really love the tray too!

Housewarming gift I purchased the classic chevron personalized rubber back doormat as a housewarming gift for my son and his wife to celebrate the purchase of their first house. It arrived a few days earlier than projected, but was waiting for them upon their arrival to their new home. They loved it. Went with the green, would have preferred more of a blue, but this works! They plan to put it out after the move and look forward to having it greet their first guests to their new home.
