Great Idea! This was the perfect gift for my husband. He absolutely loved it and the pictures turned out perfectly! The only thing is that he is having trouble lining up the pictures correctly. All the squares will be correct but the middle square picture piece will be upside down, which messes up the actual picture. A bit strange, but my husband is trying to see if there is a way to fix it. So far no luck.

Great item for a going away gift - could have used a layout template The item arrived in less than 2 weeks; super fast considering I was expecting it in 2 to 3 weeks. We are overall very happy with the product. It was purchased as a going away gift for a good friend. It was difficult to make sure the pictures would show the details we hoped for. I would like to have had a layout template to align with my picture to make sure we would have the end product we hoped for. Part of the image is lost in the areas between cubes. We were unable to know how much we were loosing therefore some faces in our pictures are not great. But overall, a great little gift to send someone off with :)

Cute product- needs a proof feature This product is a very fun product when it is done correctly. The first time i recieved the cube an entire person was cut out of one of the sides. I had to contact customer service to get a new one. It caused a lot of aggrivation but the product itself is a very cute idea. If there was a way to view the way the photos will be cropped before ordering it would be 5 stars!

As expected This will make a fun and unexpected present! This product is good. If they were to make it better, they would coat the surface paper with a glossy, perhaps waterproof seal. My guess is that the picture surface may get damaged easier than an actual Rubik Cube.

Fab-o Really creative, clever item. My uncle loves puzzles, so a Rubik's cube of his "life" is the perfect 60th bday gift. Haven't given it to him yet, but I think it came out really well and hope that he likes it, too.

Nice Gift This rubix cube is much smaller than the standard rubix cube, but it's a nice size and I'm really excited to give it as a unique anniversary gift. Its the perfect thing to set on a work/office desk without seeming like overkill of picture frames everywhere. Do listen to the advice of not using dark photos, they wont come out well on the cube.

Great photo gift idea My parents love receiving photo gifts for special occassions. I was beginning to run out of ideas when I came across this photo rubik's cube, and what a great idea. husband loved it! My husband loved this gift. I had only one complaint, and that is that some pictures cut off my son right through the eyes, so it looked funny. My only hope would be that you could preview what each side would be like, like in other products, for if I had seen before hand that it would have cut off the way it did, I would have chosen other pictures. Other than that, it was a perfect gift!

Great gift idea! i bought this as a valentines day gift for my boyfriend. he loved it! the only criticism i would make is that our faces were cut out in some of the pictures. it would be awesome if when ordering, there was a preview of some kind so you could see how the pictures will look actually on the cube. however, it was a great creative gift

There is bubbling on one of the sides of the cubes. And the plastic is very cheap. The pictures turned out well, though. I am sure the kids will still enjoy it, but I wish the quality was better.

Cute but photos scratch off easily My husband was happy to receive this as a birthday present, but after solving it one time the photos were all scratched. A protective coating over the photos would have been a good idea.

Great idea, but some smudging This product is a great idea for a fun personalized gift. However, it was a lot of work to get the photo cropping on all sides just right and saved correctly. And after all that work, the final product had smudging on the edges of the smaller squares on each side of the cube. I was sadly disappointed!

Rubix Cube/shipping I ordered the personalized rubix cube and though it will hold nice memories for my daughter it is not at all what I expected. I spent a good amount of time making sure the pictures I chose would work....that faces wouldn't be cut in half etc....unfortunately only 1 of the 4 pictures cane out the way I ordered.
Also, when I received the package it was completely smashed....thankfully the rubix cube survived delivery.

Good Quality but not quite what I expected The quality of the rubik's cube product is good. The photo images came out exactly as I expected. I was disappointed in that the actual cube is about half the size of a regular rubik's cube and the website doesn't indicate this, so I was disappointed in that it doesn't look like a real cube but more of a minature toy. Not sure I'll order that exact product ever again, but still happy with it.

A gift for my son, pictures of his son It was smaller then I realized it would be, but doable. The preview of the photos looked good, but one picture could of used a bit more cropping so it wouldn't have blocked the eyes out. I wish I would have received an e-mail advising me about the photo for other options or that the company would have cropped it themselves to fit better. That's the only disappointment . Other than that, although it's small, it's very cute.

Glad I didn't pay full price This product is unique and the perfect gift for my 13 year old nephew, but I'm glad I bought it on sale and didn't pay the full $40 it would have been after the shipping. (the $30 I did pay was still too much) I thought the pictures would be printed on the cube. They are actually individual stickers placed on each single square. That would be okay, however a number of them were crooked, causing them to come off the edge and bend. A few had bubbles in them. I wouldn't recommend it for the price.

Not worth the $ The cube is soooo tiny. I expected it to be closer to actual Rubik cube size but that's my fault for not reading it more carefully. When I got it some of the stickers were actually peeling off a little. While it is cute I think the execution should be better for the money or the price should be reduced. Also, the preview only let me view one side of the cube but luckily that wasn't an issue.

good things come in small packages This is small but I bought it for the uniqueness. The photos were placed such that you simply rotate the cube and see all 4 pictures which is great but the colored sides were not applied very well and I'm anticipating that the stickers will peel off when the cube is played with; however, the pictures were applied well. It's definitely a fun and uniqe gift, but wish the qualitiy was better and size bigger.

birthday present I received it in a timely manner however, I was very disappointed that most of the pictures that had faces of people, their faces were cut down the middle. (Where the lines of the cube were). It would have been an easy fix to move the picture over a bit. Or had a template with each of the photos of what it would look like on the cube so the picture could be enlarged or shrunk to fit it correctly, before it was purchased. Pam

Unique Gift I recently got my personalized rubik's cube and I was somewhat disappointed. I knew what I was getting into after reading several reviews, but I thought my pictures were going to be placed in a way that the faces could be seen correctly. I know it's impossible to fit every face perfectly into a square, but some of my pictures had the eyes cropped right across the middle. It'd be nice if we could arrange the pictures in each square and preview our personalization before ordering it. The quality was good, but the pictures are too dark. I'd probably try to do it myself next time.

I'm wondering if they will stay intact. Still, for sentimental reasons, and as ornamentation, it's cute. I don't think I'd recommend playing with it.

Customized Rubik's cube- slow shipping By Shopper (Dunlap, IL) - December 30, 2012 This gift was really neat, since my husband has been working on mastering the original cube. However you will probably never get this one back together if you start messing with it! Still pretty unique gift. However I was very disappointed in how long it took to arrive. I received all of my other gifts from personalization mall in plenty of time for Christmas, but had to inquire about this one. Finally they answered me that it had shipped on Dec. 19 and would arrive by Dec. 24. However, it did not arrive until Dec. 27... Quite disappointing! I think I had even paid for rushed delivery. It apparently ships from a "different warehouse", but a little better warning would have been appreciated.

Personalized Rubiks Cube I was disappointed in the personalization of the Rubik's Cube. Although it is a novelty, it would have been better to have each block as an indiviual picture rather than the picture being spread out on all the blocks on 1 side. Having individual pictures on each block per side would make it more like the Rubiks Cube ( like having 1 side all red, etc.) The way it is with 1 entire picture, makes it almost impossible to solve since each side has some of the same background color. The quality of the pictures on the cube are very good, tho'.

Just OK This is a great idea for those rubix cube lovers. I rated just OK for a few reason. The good is the cube itself turns easily and came packaged nicely and in good shape. Also arrived a good week sooner then expected. I used high quality pictures and they were pretty bright with good lightening. They are darker on the cube. Plus its not actually glossy photo... it is basically just paper so the quality is just OK. This is still a great novelity gift but I expected better for $30. Also 2 or 3 of the stickers were put on crooked. So I think they should use better quality photo paper and make sure pictures are either lightened if necesary or many better photo paper would help that. And they should make sure the stickers are stuck evenly.

All the other presents were generic, so I wanted something personal. Though the size is a bit small, and the cropping can make the pictures look strange (missing eyes, nose, etc.), it's a thoughtful gift for the nerdy gamer.

After I got it, one or two of the stickers were not completely stuck down either... I wish that the stickers had been better quality, but overall I am happy with this purchase.

Needs Work I absolutely loved the idea of a personalized rubik's cube. What a great desk accessory. The only problem is that the picture layout if awful. People faces are completely cut out and the pictures look awful. I wish i I would have known where the gaps were going to be so I could have formatted my picture to miss them and have the right areas cut off. Instead I have pictures where you cant even see peoples faces! Maybe if I was able to see where the gaps were going to be I could have picked better pictures for the space.

One of the pictures on the cube was not the correct size for the cube and I wish I would have known that. If so, I would have chosen a different picture. However, it was a very clever gift and very unique.

Disappointing for the price Upon receiving the cube which I purchased for my nephew, I was disappointed in how disconnected the pictures became. The gaps between the squares seemed so large which made it hard to enjoy the pictures. I feel that the cube seemed smaller than a regular rubik's cube? Not sure if that is so. I guess I expected more for almost $40.00.
