Nice Stocking Holder This Stocking Holder is nice but a little different from a previous year of this same model. This holder comes right up to the edge of wherever you place it while my other holder has a little lip so it has about an inch of space between the edge. I think the older model was a better design. Other than that, it's a nice quality and looks pretty.

Bigger than previous years By Shopper (Gainesville, GA) - December 14, 2016 I ordered several of these about three years ago. We have a new addition in our family and I ordered one for him. Unfortunately, it's a good bit bigger than the others. Otherwise, it's well-made and looks great.

Look good, just huge and still won't hold a lot of weight. Beautiful holder, but was surprised at how large they were. Size is fine, but was surprised it couldn't hold more weight for the massive size it is.

 Not what I was expectingBy Shopper (CASTLE PINES, CO) - November 27, 2021 I thought that the tree part would be solid, so it would have some weight to it. This is a very thin piece of metal. I'm worried that it will just fall off the shelf when I fill the stocking. Kind of disappointed with it.

Easily knocked off (change in hook from past years) By Shopper (Avon, CT) - December 27, 2017 I love these stocking holders. I bought two last year and then with the arrival of my daughter, I bought one for her this year. I was hoping it would be the same but the hook has been changed to one that doesn't let the weight sit as far back on the furniture as the previous years. This has resulted in the holder being knocked off the mantel and making two marks in our wood floor. I'm disappointed the hook has changed. Other than that, it is just what I was looking for.

VERY LARGE By Shopper (Sacramento, CA) - January 16, 2016 I ordered 3 of the snowflakes for my family. They are quite nice, good quality, and heavy enough to seemingly hold a lot of goodies in the stocking. However, they are quite large. As noted in the previous reviews, I guess they used to come in a smaller size, but they changed the size and now they are quite big (about 6 inches in diameter)...so if you're looking for something dainty, I wouldn't suggest these...they are a bit visually overwhelming on the mantle. That being said, the engraving came out nicely and they are pretty and functional. (I did have an issue though, with one of the names being off centered, and I had to have it remade twice until it came out right!). I would give it 3.5 stars - 4 stars. But I took off a bit for the problem I had with the engraving.

It's really beautiful.....BUT.... ....it does not hold a heavy stocking! :(
Was hoping that it could handle a 1 lb. stocking, but it just doesn't. I'll keep the stocking holder because it's really beautiful. I'll have to order another stocking holder next year so I can split up the stuff in the stockings.

Stocking holders I got one for each of my boys. They turned out lovely. The only thing is they are not as heavy as described. They would not hold a stuffed stocking but for hanging on the mantle for display, they will do the job.

Much larger than expected By Shopper (Houston, TX) - December 3, 2015 Last year, I ordered the snowflake stocking holder for my granddaughter and I was very pleased. This year I was happy to see what I thought was the exact same thing so I ordered one for the new granddaughter. It just arrived - looks the same, but is much larger. So disappointed that they do not match, plus since we have quite a number of stockings hanging, the large size takes up more space than seems practical. So - if you are considering ordering, my advice is to pay close attention to the measurements which are provided. I didn't because I was expecting it to be the the same as the last one I ordered. Should have, though.

Nice, but disappointed I purchased this item this year for my newborn son. I had bought 3 a few years ago for my husband, my daughter, and myself. This looks EXACTLY the same. Unfortunately, it is MUCH LARGER than the ones sold a few years ago. It is HUGE next to my other ones. I wish it were a bit clearer when I purchased it that it is not the same item they used to sell. There are no other size options so I was clueless!

 Love it but despise engineering Purchased these over the years as the family grows. The original ones have a longer neck more conducive to ensuring kids inadvertently don’t tip over. Some engineer or marketing person must have thought they had a brilliant idea to make an extra penny by shortening the neck of the holder. So disappointing.

engraved stocking holder By Shopper (Locust Valley, NY) - January 3, 2019 This holder is not designed well. If a child pulls on the stocking, the holder will fall because the hook is too close to the edge of the mantle. The holders that were manufactured a few years ago had a longer hook and were not as close to the edge. Very disappointed in this new design.

Too big I have been buying the stocking holders for the last nine years and when I went to buy a new one for my newest grandchild it was sent to me and it was huge which I was very surprised I didn’t realize that my original ones that I’ve been buying not just in the ninth year but throughout the nine years because I’ve had various grandchildren the size had changed I was told.my mantle at Christmas time is a showstopper but now with this giant one it will not balance. Very disappointing

I hope you go back to the smaller, more expensive looking model so I can continue adding them as my family grows.

Return Shopper By Shopper (Sparta, TN) - December 4, 2016 I was very disappointed when I received this stocking holder - not about the quality of the product because it is very nice. My problem is that I have bought 6 of these holders previously, and I bought this one for my new granddaughter. It is not the same product as before. It is much larger and looks out of place with my other holders on my mantle. Don't know why you changed it, but it is a problem if you are trying to match others.

I love them and planned to continue the tradition. I ordered one for new October baby and it is HUGE compared to the others! Wish there had been two sizes to choose from....Now what do I do?

Not heavy The stocking holders are pretty but the description is not very accurate in terms of now much weight they can support. Fell off the mantle several times Regret ordering them

Total disappointment I read the reviews that said it holds filled stockings. I went to hang the lightly filled stockings last night and they didn't hold at all. They are pretty, but that's worthless when you have to lay all 5 stockings on the ground for the kids go wake up to on Christmas morning. If I could return these, I would!
