Second Purchase By Shopper (Rochester, IL) - March 15, 2019 The first time I purchased this blanket a few years ago, it was for a friend of mine whose father passed, and he loved it. He said it was his favorite memorial gift (including flowers). When my daughter's friend's grandfather died, I decided to go with this blanket again. She's a college student, and loves the blanket.
Both times I bought the blanket in grey with ivory stitching. Since I haven't actually kept the blanket, I can't speak to how well it washes or how warm it is, but it is absolutely beautiful.

No one should send flowers to a grieving family; they have to watch the flowers die, just like they watched their loved one die! Send an embroidered afghan or sherpa blanket. The family will think of their loved one & you each time they look at it.
