love it, but also disappointed I first purchased this frame for myself and LOVED it! Since I liked it so much I purchased it again for my brother and was very disappointed. The 2nd one I purchased there was not much difference in the coloring of the dark and the light parts of the frame, very different than the first one I bought where the dark and light woods definately stood out, however the 2nd one blended too much and definately doesn't look as nice. Pleased with the 1st one, not with the 2nd though...

 “Because of you” personalized frameThe name Kallie was stained lighter than the name Austin. Because it was a Christmas gift, I had to go ahead and give it to them. So disappointed!

wood color contrast By Shopper (San Francisco, CA) - July 6, 2020 I've purchased these frames in the past and have been very satisfied with the final product. However, this one that just arrived is not like the previous ones as the 2 color contrasts of the wood frame is not very defined. Instead of the darker wood as a contrast as shown in the example, it is light in color, result: the 2 color contrast of the wood on the frame is not very delineated.

Not expected By Shopper (Bridgeport , PA) - December 9, 2016 I've gotten this frame in the past and love it so much. The browns contrasted just like the display photo. This time I ordered two more and they hardly contrast at all! I'm disappointed in the contrast but they are still well made in terms of quality and crisp lines where they're engraved.

Love the frame and the names on the corners I am happy with the frame and the names. I would have liked the words to have been centered along the side and I thought the letters were rather small-- narrow and kind of hard to read. Overall, it arrived in quick order as I was pressed for time.

Just okay The frame is okay. The colors aren't as bright as the add shows. The saying is like a 6 font. Too small to read.

Almost perfect What I loved about this product is the carved names and how much they stand out. They are perfectly fitted, sized and cut. Just as it looks in the picture.
What I didn't like about it too much was how small the letters were on the bottom. I tried to add a scripture verse but had to modify it several times to make it fit. When I finally got it and saw the final result here at my house. It kind of makes you have to pay a lot of attention to read it. It's readable but too too too small.

Would buy again but not as pictured By Shopper (Elma, WA) - September 14, 2013 This picture frame is really neat and I am happy that I choose it for a gift. However, the contrast between the light and dark colors is much lighter than in the stock photo. Also, where they chisel out the darker color you notice all of the lines. Please see my picture that shows the frame I received. All in all I would purchase this again but please note it will not be as pristine as the website shows.

Good quality I bought this frame for my sister because she is my maid of honor and I could not find a maid of honor frame I really liked. It is nice quality, but not as nice as I expected. The quote is too small and I will be buying another frame for her.

Wood Color Problem The frame was good but it was a lot lighte than it shows on the picture. Mine came in a really light natural wood :(

Not happy with the finished product I am not happy with how my frame turned out. The dark wood is so light that the names barely stand out, it doesn't look anything like the other pictures shown, or like the preview. I would not have ordered this if I had known what it would actually look like.

Personalized quotation looks ridiculous! By Shopper (Cape Girardeau, MO) - December 20, 2016 If you use a stock quotation, this frame is probably great. But if you use a personalized quotation (like I did), it's entirely too small and makes the frame look silly.

Mixed Emotions I bought this frame as a gift for my boyfriend to celebrate our upcoming one year dating anniversary. I like that you can personalize it with your own quotes/words. The only thing I don't like about it is the background wood behind our names is a lot lighter in person than it looked on-line. I'm not sure I would purchase this item again. Guess I just had high expectations because of all the rave reviews I read before ordering.

Ours came very lightly colored, rough, splintered surface, not the nice & clear detailing as shown in picture on website. Was very disappointed. Doesn't look anything like the picture preview I was shown before ordering.

Not Pleased... This Wood frame was downgraded in Quality, same price though poor Quality.. I have purchased many of these Wooden frames in the past, what they have had before is NOT what they have now.Overall, not satisfied and wouldn't order this product again.

Can barely read quote The personalized quote font is a little small and seems dispropotionate on the frame. I purposefully used a very short quote, so that is would not overwhelm the frame.
The frames you have pictured online have a maximum of one or two words per line and a larger font. Whereas my entire quote is crammed into 2 lines. So this was a little dissapointing.

Font Too Small The frame itself was beautiful and the names did come out very nice, but the personalized wording on the lower left side was very unsatisfactory. My wording was brief but instead of making the font larger and spreading it out, it came out tiny and squished and looks ridiculous in the surrounding larger amount of space it could have taken up. Bottom line: the image you see is EXACTLY what you will get, although it is implied that they will adjust it for you.

 Not as pictured-BEWARE I was shocked at what I got. It looks nothing like the photo. The wood is a worn brown without the two tone color or the maple look. It’s putty brown without the distinct two tones. I own one of these frames which I purchased a few years back. Mine is exactly as pictured so I thought I’d buy a relative one as a gift. What I got was awful. I understand that wood is a natural source and no two are alike but the item I rcvd is drastically different. Stuck bcs it’s a gift; no time to return.

Unhappy with Frame The quote on my frame was written with such a small font I could barely make out the words.
