This was a graduation gift. I was happy to be able to choose the school colors, persons name and college name for the blanket. And the design of a graduation cap was perfect! The graduate is very pleased with her blanket and loves the personalization and it's soooo soft! She has used it every night since she received it. Great idea for future gifts. Gave 4 stars only because it hasn't been washed yet; and I want to see and make sure it's still soft and the stitching holds up.
I've ordered before and really love the gifts. Quick and simple, but thoughtful gifts of monogrammed fleece blankets for graduates. Prompt arrival time and looked beautiful. Only complaint was when ordering a red plush blanket. It looks more like a fuchsia color. Other than that I was satisfied and will definitely order again.??

Needed a graduation gift for my bestfriend and was running out of time. I came across this site which gave me a discount after making an account with them. Was easy to purchase and liked that I could view how it would look. Unfortunately, from my lack of time I had to send it directly to her house so it would arrive on time so I have not gotten to see it in person. But she did she send me a picture and it looks exactly how I ordered it to look. I gave this item four stars because I do not know how it looks with the personalization in regards to the rest of the blanket and sizing but she told me"she loves it, its really soft,and its an okay size."
I ordered 2 of these last June....one was inferior, but PM would not replace it. This June I tried again and ordered 3 of these. One was inferior and they offered to replace it. Perhaps fleece blankets should not be personalized. Or, with these concerns, perhaps they should use thicker thread to ensure that these blankets will live up to their standards. The photo was great when I reviewed it, but the finished product had very thin stitching on the top of the cap.
I have been ordering personalized 50x60 fleece blankets for graduation presents for several years, always with the certainty they would be a gift I would like to give and a gift well received. Over the last three years, I have ordered nine of these blankets. This year I had the occasion to order only one. When it arrived, I was so disappointed with the embroidery! You could not distinguish and 'i' from a 't'...they seemed to run together making the 'i' look like an 'l'. I called customer service and after a lengthy conversation about customer loyalty, the blanket was replaced. I received it yesterday and it is exactly the same! I do not know if Personalization Mall has changed the way the monogramming is done or what, but I am still not satisfied. Since it is this late and party is today, I must give a gift I am not happy giving. I do appreciate them trying to make it better, although it was not. The preview order looks good, but the actual product is not...you cannot tell there is a dot over the 'i'.
I have purchased this product before, however the quality has changed. The material is thinner and the writing is not showing well.
Big Disappointment

I purchased this fleece blanket as a graduation gift for a high school graduate. The blanket is a nice size however the embroidered personalization was very disappointing. It is located in a small area on one corner of the blanket. The lettering is thin and very small. I expected the writing to be in the middle of the blanket and much larger to actually be able to see it. According to customer service, "quality control", based on the picture I sent, the lettering was the correct size. I would not recommend this due to the small almost unreadable lettering plus the fact that it is located in one small corner of the blanket. The photo is definitely deceiving, not gift worthy.
The Quality was nice, But the thread was much lighter in color than I expected, so the print wasn't as brilliant as I wanted. I am a little disappointed.
