NOT RUSTIC WOOD Beware that this frame does NOT look like the photo. It looks like plastic with a picture of wood. It is very reflective. But itt still came out cute. Gave it as a Just Becayse gift so it was okay. Plus I had it shipped to them and didn't see it first. But I would not give this as a formal present. I would have given it 4 stars but took off a star because it's not rustic wood.

Color and finish of the laminate was not what I expected per the photo on the web site. Lettering was great. Next gift I will consider the black and white frame, as I have given in the past

Color/finish disappointment By Shopper (Dixon, IL) - July 16, 2017 Have used Personalization Mall over the years for that gift with a special touch. Have never been disappointed with the quality and service. This product was not up to the great quality as the color on the frame had a reddish tint, lettering was OK. Contacted customer service and they were prompt with a reply and checked with production, thiere was no problem. Must be the laminate they use? Might choose a different frame in the future.

Looks cheap I obviously didn't expect real wood but the laminate makes the frame look cheap. It's clearly just a picture of wood printed out and placed under the laminate. I know you get what you pay for, but I was hoping the product wouldn't look as cheap as it was. I bought this as a wedding gift for my cousin and I honestly don't want to give it to her because of how cheap it looks. I think I'll be returning it and purchasing a frame elsewhere.

Picture frame By Shopper (Dover, OH) - April 15, 2017 Was slightly disappointed in the picture frame. I thought by the picture that it was rustic wood material and it was actually a pressed wood with a high gloss finish to it. Overall nice frame just not what I expected.

Too Glossy I expected the frame to be wooden but instead it was extremely glossy. Too glossy for my liking but too late to send back. Purchased for a wedding gift. I just hope the couple likes it.

NOT REAL WOOD When I ordered this I thought I was getting a real wooden, engraved picture frame. But it's actually just essentially a picture frame with a sticker that looks like wood on top. It still will look nice from afar, but if you want real wood that is not what you're getting.

Not real wood This item is portrayed as being a rustic, wooden frame, however, it's plastic. Granted, it's still a nice frame, but I wish it was more obvious that it wasn't wooden.

Rustic Elegance Wedding Frame By Shopper (Sterling Heights, MI) - January 19, 2019 This frame was a little different that expected. I thought it would appear to look more like wood grain, but it is a laminate. Also the name spacing doesn't work well with names of different lengths. I had a 5 letter name and a 3 letter name and the 3 letter name appeared larger than the 5 letter name and was stretched to fit a certain space, causing the names to look unbalanced. Working with Personalization Mall to see what my option are.

Ugly I am completely obsessed with this site, this purchase however I regret. The picture is not a good representation. This frame looks cheap. I am fine with it being a glossy finish; There are a few dull/gray areas as if there is a film over it though. The fake wood looks terrible. I bought this as a wedding gift and I'm almost embarrassed to give it to them. Please save your time and pick something else.

Does not look like online photos! I ordered this as a gift for a wedding and was very disappointed when it came in. From the photos online I thought this was going to be wood with the letters carved out, instead it's just wood grain and letters printed on a plastic/laminate super shiny frame. It was not what I was expecting at all.

Not what I expected One surprise I had upon receiving this wedding gift is it isn’t engraved, as the photo in the catalog might lead you to believe. The personalization is merely printed on the frame. Also, it’s a flat, shiny laminate which has a “wood look” but it isn’t a rustic wood “feel.” Had I known this, I would have made another choice.

Needs a bit more RUSTIC feel By Shopper (Indian Creek, IL) - August 7, 2017 Overall the quality is the usual PM level. Just disappointed in the frame itself. Not as rustic as I had hoped with the heavy laminate coating. Makes it look way too contemporary...especially as a wedding gift for a barn wedding which itself is all about rustic in design and the reason I ordered two--one for the bride and groom and one for the parents of the bride. Would be better in real wood without the shiny coating and let the wood grain come through.

Not as pictured This is the first product that I have been disappointed in from PersonalizationMall.com. The picture shown shows the frame is a deep brown, wood-like color when in fact it seems whitewashed. I know it's not meant to look like real wood but it just looks very, very fake.

Disappointed By Shopper (Cumming, GA) - March 8, 2017 The finished product isn't what I expected. Although I knew it wasn't real wood, I didn't expect it to have a plexiglass type covering. It has a very shiny coating that distracts from the 'rustic' appearance in the picture. The product shown doesn't depict that.

Blurry for the price of this item, you would think it should be real wood, although I knew it was not. The lettering is blurry and not all that attractive. Only thing that have this two stars instead of one, is that it's a thicker heavy material.

Deceiving picture This is my first negative review for PMall. I love everything I get from here and it is the first place I go to order for holidays, etc. My husband and I both looked at this frame and thought it was wood. It looks so elegant online. When I received it I was so disappointed. It isn't wood at all. The personalization is on a flat wood-look-a-like picture. It is a wedding gift and I am almost too embarrassed to give it. It is an expensive frame and I feel like it looks so cheap. I have to give it to them because what else am I going to do with a personalized frame and the wedding is less than a week away now. I am just disappointed for the first time with PMall. It's such a shame.

Rustic elegance frame I have been purchasing from personalization mall for years now and have never been dissapointed with a product until now. This frame looks like it is made out of rustic wood from the display photo, but it's actually printed "wood" look a like and super glossy. I will not buy this frame again, nor will I recommend it to others.

Deceiving Product is not as high quality as the others. It's acrylic... Not real wood! Looks cheap. The real wood frames are a much better option.

Not actual wood! By Shopper (Saco , ME) - June 20, 2016 Had ordered as a wedding gift, but when I saw the actual product I realized it was too tacky to give as an actual wedding gift and I gave it to the bride-to-be as a Bridal Shower gift instead. Note to potential buyers: It is not real wood! It's a print out of a wood-like pattern with a glossy finish over it. I'm lucky that I had a discount code, because I would have returned it if I had paid full price!

Would not recommend this product but other things I have ordered from this site have worked out well.

 Fake By Shopper (Milwaukee, WI) - December 8, 2018 The frame looked great in the display picture online, but dont be fooled. The wood looks fake in person rather than real looking in the picture. Just a sticker on a frame. Asked if I could return it in exchange for online credit. Was given a response in bold about the description: "crafted wood frame picture features matte laminate front." As if I was supposed to know it would look fake. Doesnt look like the picture. Shouldnt be labeled "wood" anyways because its NOT. Thank you for nothing!

Shiny not rustic I was expecting this to be rustic and raw looking. It came shiny and cheap. I am currently scrambling to find something else to give to the bride and groom. I usually love everything from personalizationmall but this was a huge let down. The preview photo is misleading.
