Perfect Antique Map I had been looking for a vintage-like world map on canvas for a while now, and I was so happy when I came across this one! It's absolutely perfect! It was a little too big for the space I was looking to mount it on, but that's more my fault for not measuring the space correctly. The only "con" I have about this map is the smell. It has a rough smell as soon as you remove it from its wrapping that lasts a few days, but then goes away. The pins it came with fit perfectly.

The map is alot more detailed than I thought it would be. Hubby and I look forward to hanging it and placing pins (they come with the canvas) on all the places we have traveled thus far.

Perfect Gift My husband loved this map when I gave it to him for Christmas. We both love to travel, and now we have a fun way to show all the places we've been! The map is beautiful and he loved the personalized detail added at the bottom.

Lovely gift for travelers I have to admit, the box was a little tattered when I received it, but the map was wonderfully wrapped in bubble wrap so no harm was done. The newlyweds and avid travelers loved their Christmas gift. I highly recommend this, especially with the added personalization.

Perfect! I ordered this for my son who just became a pilot and his new wife. They want to document their world travels as they share their lives together. What a wonderful idea to have their names and their wedding year on the map. I ordered the stretch canvas with no frame for a more casual look. I would suggest that if you want a more formal look, order the frame as well. Good job, Personalization Mall! You are my favorite on-line gift store!

Love it! By Shopper (Lebanon, KY) - December 1, 2016 Excellent quality. It is a very neutral print - colors are muted and very similar to what appears on website photo. The detail is excellent and text/words are clear and sharp. Rather than a "romantic travels" map, I purchased this as a gift for our entire family. We've been married 27 years, we have two adult children, and we've lived in 8 different states. We all have traveled extensively and this is a wonderful way to remember our past travels, plan for future trips, and remember family and friends both near and far. I could not be happier with the purchase.

Love it!! My Wife and I travel every year for our anniversary and have talked about trying to find something like this for years. I had a lot of trouble finding exactly what we wanted until I saw this. We absolutely love this map! Aesthetically it's beautiful and will look great on our bedroom wall! We love the caption at the top and we're very pleased that we could have our names and year added. The order process was easy and it arrived when it was supposed to.

 World travel mapPurchased this item for my son and his fiancé who travel a lot. They loved it. Nice wall decor and conversation piece. They did say that they wished Russia and China parts of the map weren’t so big. They take up half the map and most of their travels won’t be on that side of the map.

Travel map By Shopper (Charlotte , NC) - December 24, 2018 The map is beautiful but I was under the impression that it came with pins to use as markers. Mine did not include any stick pins so I am not sure what type of pins to use on the canvas.

Broken Frame Received map and frame. The frame had ben crushed in delivery. Called customer service, excellent. Sent out a whole new map. Received but it was detached on one corner. I made a minor repair and it was fine.

So Cool! I would have given this product 5 stars however the frame which was $35.00 additional was not worth it. The description stated it was a walnut frame but it is plastic and does not fit the picture securely. Purchase your own frame if you are looking for quality. Also, the metal tabs to hang the map are cheap and bent when trying to attach them. We used a nail gun and some picture wire to hang it up. Other than that the quality of the canvas is amazing.

Overall a beautiful product I am overall happy with the quality of the map I received. The personalization was correct and the map itself is lovely. I was disappointed that there is no cork/foam core backing. I ordered the standard gallery wrap as I am having it framed with an engraved plaque as a 25th Anniversary gift to my husband. My framer will add foam core. The map is also off on one end by about 1/8", giving my framer a little more work to frame it nicely. I would still recommend this product as a quality product.

No cork backer and no hangers Received the map as ordered and the personalization was just as described. There is no cork backer so there is really nothing to hold the pins in the canvas, nor was there any hooks on the back of the canvas frame to hang it to the wall. Went to Hobby Lobby and purchased a cork panel and mounted it in the frame behind the canvas to hold the pins. Works great now.

Great value overall Overall great product. The map has a beautiful vintage look. I wish the print was only the entire world map rather than the few extra up close of the north and south poles that are on the side. That way the entire canvas would be utilized for the map.
The canvas is definitely of good quality and has been printed very well.
An additional thing that eventually I will have to do is place something behind it so that the pins do not hit a wall where ever it is hung.
I gifted it to my husband for our anniversary, but it would make a great gift for someone else also!

Excellent gift My dad and his wife were very pleased about receiving this map. They are avid travelers and really got into finding their destinations and plotting them on the map with the pins. They said they may even have to buy more pins they've been so many places! I only gave it 4 stars because they are older and said the map is difficult to see due to the size of the continents and they needed a magnifying glass. Other than that they are really happy with the map!

 World MapPersonalization is great, looks exactly as pictured. The reason for the 3 stars is the frame quality, the bottom was dented near the corner, and the frame wobbled quite a bit around the canvas. The silver pins to hold the frame to the canvas would not remain bent down, they continued to pop up. Also, we did not receive any hanging hardware with our frame. We contacted customer service who have been pleasant and helpful. We are awaiting our replacement order. I will review that order separately.

Alittle disappointed I was surprised that it didn't have a corkboard backing, it's just canvas and I feel the pins could fall out easily. Also wished that the map was zoomed in alittle more, hard to put pins in some states close together.

Purchased for Christmas present By Shopper (Brooklyn, CT) - November 13, 2017 The canvas map is nice. The frame is just ok. Problem is the map falls out of the frame because 90% of the clips to hold it in fell out in the box and the rest are not shot into the plastic frame far enough to hold it in. My other issue is no backing on the canvas so if you put a pin in it to mark where you've traveled it pushes the canvas in to far. Planning on trying to back it with a piece of styrofoam to solve that problem. Also no hanger on the frame, so ready to hang is inaccurate because just putting the frame on a nail pulls it away from the canvas and you can see in between them. After spending more money to solve all these issues hopefully it will still be a nice gift.

not ready to hang As far as the map goes it is great with very nice customization. However ordered the framed version and the map was not set in frame. Found some loose prongs to help secure in the frame and the hanging hardware was again just loose in package. The frame and the canvas frame are of good quality which made putting hardware and prongs in a task. In addition there is no backer to the canvas to secure pins. Remedied this but cutting down some foam board and placing behind canvas. Had I wanted to make one myself I would have and at a lower price. Expected map to be ready to hang. Again the map itself is great and looks good on wall once assembly is done.

No cork backer Everything with this product is good but the map didn't have a cork backer on it. So the pins have nothing to hold on to. From previous reviews it sounded like it used to have a cork backer on it. Well, not anymore. So, I'll have to go try to find one I can glue to the back of the map. It kinda stinks that I have to do all this extra work for something they should have done in the first place.

Need back piece Not something that can last. There is no cork backing witch will fix the problem with the pins making the canvas too big. The plastic look a like canvas can dry up and tear. The recommend size of thickness was not necessary.

 Canvas can’t be pinned in all areas due to wood going down middle backMap looks nice. Can be pinned in areas where wood is not going down the middle of the canvas; however the entire middle cannot be pinned due to the wood going down the center. Waiting to hear back as the map is useless to us. Unfortunately we can’t pin all of the UK(where we lived for 4 years) and most of Europe, where we traveled extensively. I bought it as a map to pin our travels and this cannot be done. Frame was also cheap but expensive. The unpinnaable area will vary based on size ordered.
