Perfect I must say I’m surprised that the slate blue mat has a couple negative reviews. I got it for my home library (with “The Library” in the center and famous authors’ names in the background). It is exactly as described. SLATE blue (for those who were disappointed that it was a faded looking gray/purplish blue instead of true blue, that is exactly what slate blue is). And yes, the background names are faded into the background (not bold). That’s how it’s supposed to be. I am completely in love!

I LOOOOOVE this Doormat! I am a Real Estate Agent and once I discovered this particular doormat I give it a s a gift to almost all of my clients when they close on their new homes! It's so fun to get to put their names in the background and it means a lot to them. I usually write "Welcome" across the front with the individual names in the background. I also always give it with the tray...it is just that much more classy. Everyone loves it!

Thank you! This door mat came in before expected! It looks exactly like the one in the picture! Beautiful and simple! The perfect Christmas gift! The only thing is that the grey is tinted a tiny bit with a more purpleish hue than blue, but it’s very very nice! Will probably order from here again!
