The lights in it are several small lights and the picture I used with a lighter background looks just that way, like little lights shining. I got it on sale and would order more.

Beautiful I bought this for my mom of my daughters. I love how you can custom the photo, I chose sepia because my mom loves photos in that shade. The picture came out amazing! And looks even more beautiful with the lights on!

Beautiful I was worried when first ordering that the photo wouldn't be clear once you turned on the light but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a beautiful gift, the photo looked great with the lighting, and it's a sturdy frame. I would purchase again.

Loved it! I was in love with this, you need two batteries because it doesn’t come with it. The light turns on in the back with a little switch. Shows the picture nice and clear and just looks awesome in the dark!

Shadow box I love it! Looks better than I excepted because of some reviews. It says the white will be totally transparent so I was a little concerned but it wasn't. Definitely going to buy some more as gifts

Adorable! By Shopper (Johnson Creek, WI) - February 14, 2019 Ordered this for my niece for her puppy themed room. I used an app called PhotoLab to put an art effect on my image because I worried my original pic didn't have good resolution. With the art effect it didn't matter so it turned out perfect! I didn't realize it wasn't a plug in unit, it's battery operated. That being said I think it would be so cool to have hanging hardware on the back of this and if they could put the on/off switch on the side (vs. back)it could be hung on the wall too! :)
