Makes a very nice memorable gift Purchased for an employee retiring after 26 years. It looks great. I agree with another reviewer about making sure you look at the size specifications. The pictures make it look bigger than its actual size but that is not a reason to give it a lower star rating. It will make a great addition to a desk or shelf.

However, it arrived in a padded envelope in a box without any tissue or bubble wrap. The box was torn and barely held together. The bottom is falling through. I'm glad I opted for the gift box, which came folded up. I'll have to add my own tissue paper to secure it. I'm surprised it came in one piece without breaking, but happy with the product itself.

Retirement Gift This item was the perfect gift for my mother’s retirement. She absolutely loves it. It was a little smaller than I expected which is why I took away one star (but that’s on me I guess for not paying closer attention to the dimensions). The website was very user friendly, I received updates on my order as I was awaiting it and shipping was really quick. Overall I am very pleased. The item looked exactly as pictured in the preview when I received it.
