Custom Cutting Board with Recipe By Shopper (San Antonio, TX) - August 20, 2021 LOVED the idea and the completed cutting board. Shipped and arrived exactly on time as promised. The only tiny complaint was that a few of the words were not toned as dark as the rest, but that could be due to the wood itself. This is a wedding gift for our first granddaughter with her great-grandmother's recipe etched in it. I hope she treasures it.

However, I bought 3 and 2 each have one row with printing many shades darker than the rest making it look like those lines are highlighted which they not. It does not look like the grain affected the print because the boards are relatively even colored all over. It just looks like the ink was darker on those lines. The photos below do not look like any of the actual 3 I purchased.

Family heirloom Now my family will forever have our family recipe to pass down from generations to generations. We can’t lose it now.
Only problem with we have is that the words are hard to read. I wish the staining on the words were darker and even colored so the recipe is legible and stands out.

Fixable with Rustoleum Glaze The product did not meet my expectations when first received because the coloring of the text was not uniform like the website photos suggest. Like other reviewers, the actual cutting board I received had text that varied in darkness and in some places was quite difficult to read. Fortunately, I was able to remedy the problem using Rustoleum decorative glaze. You can rub it into the crevasses and then wipe the excess from the raised part of the cutting board. It worked like a charm for me so I wanted to pass along the advice to others who have issues reading their recipe, or like me, are concerned that their gift recipient would.

Christmas Presents These were much bigger than expected! And they turned out great except two of them came out very light. That was a bit disappointing but, overall, they are pretty nice.

Loved this item, but….. By Shopper (Washington, PA) - November 27, 2021 This item is awesome except for the engraving, it is to light. You can hardly read anything the recipe or the ingredients. We are thinking about taking a permanent marker and go over the writing. We don’t want to damage it but we have to do something.

 Disappointed The board itself is very nice I am just disappointed because the print is very faint. Not at all as bright as I thought it would be. I’m afraid it will fade significantly over the years and I want it to last my daughter a long time. I will probably try to find someone who can burn over the writing ti make it more visible. I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered from here in the past.

Inconsistent printing I returned one as the printing was very inconsistent, unlike the posted example.

Bamboo personalized Cutting Board I absolutely love the idea of this product. I ordered it for a family member. The first ones lettering was half light and half dark. I contacted the company and they replaced it. They were great. The second was shipped quickly but the lettering was lighter than than the first. I did not contact the company the second time because again I love the idea of this product. I could not find this anywhere else so I order a 3rd cutting board. The 3rd one was a little better. The 3rd is pictured.

Excitement to disappointment I looked everywhere before finding this. It was perfect. And I was excited. The turn around time was relatively speedy from ordering to delivery. BUT ... When they arrived, my excitement turned into slight disappointment when I opened each of the FIVE boards! Some of the words & entire lines in the recipe were barely visable, not the burned wood look as shown in their product pic and was expected based on that & from what I approved during Preview! Pmall should take more pride in their work.
