Great quality, strange noise I got this as a gift for my fiance who coaches soccer and basketball. When it came in I was Very excited because it was beautiful and the engraving was perfect. When he opened it, he loved it too; until he blew it.. the cavity where the pea is is so large that it made a strange noise compared to what we're used to. He'll still use it, but will just have to get used to it!

Whistle I actually thought the text would be a bit larger on the whistle, like the example shows. However, I was still pleased with the product overall and my boyfriend absolutely loved it!

Its Perfect!! My husband is the head coach for a little league team and my household! (LOL!!) I got this for Christmas gift. I know he is going to just love it! It may be the smallest gift he gets but its may come off as one of the most thoughtful!Great gift idea!

CEO Gift Loved the end result, thought it was going to be a little bigger - I couldn't blow the whistle - Is it supposed to sound like a regular whistle? No sound came out.

Nice, but novelty ONLY By Shopper (Sacramento, CA) - May 11, 2018 Very nice and look great, however... they do not really whistle very well. We gave these as a gift to two coaches and they put them on to use right away for the game. They both tried to whistle with them and had to stop the game to go and get their original whistles. It was rather embarrassing for my kids who gave them as a gift and for the coaches who had to take them off. Looks very nice, but these will just end up on the wall as a souvenir which was not the intention. Bummed.

Engraved Sports Whistle This product was a gift for a coach. The whistle itself seems to be a quality stainless steel, although, the quality of the sound is very low and dull, not a sharp sound at all.

Don't order the gift box! By Shopper (Berkeley, CA) - June 8, 2017 I have to say that I was rather disappointed by the cheap quality the whistle was made of. But I got it on sale and in the end I am sure my kid's coach will appreciate the nice gesture. However, the engraving was very light and hard to see. I ordered the gift box for $5 and that was definitely a waste of money. I will not use it as I don't want to embarrass myself in front of the teacher. It is a simple, white, foldable box. The bottom side has a label with a bar code that can't be removed without leaving traces. The top side of the box shows the Personalization Mall.com logo and top/bottom are held together with a black stretchy rubber band. I would have expected this box to be free as any dollar store would provide me with a better quality box!

OK Nice engraving, but whistle doesnt blow loud enough for class so it will now be used as memorabilia.

Pretty but not high quality I bought this whistle as a gift. It is a very good-looking whistle and the inscription is good as well, but the actual whistle is not one that a coach would really use.

Whistle Ordering and delivery were simple and easy. The product itself does not work as good as expected. It's not a loud whistle and does not always make a sound. I'm disappointed that it doesn't work as well as I hoped.

Not bad I got this for my boyfriend who coaches basketball. Thought it was a really cute idea. He loved it; but when he took it to the games to actually use, it didn't work well and he had to use another whistle :-/ looks really good, just wish it worked as well as his whistle that only cost him a couple bucks.

Nice engraving but poor quality wistle By Shopper (New York , NY) - January 11, 2017 I recently purchased this whistle and found that the engraving was beautiful but the whistle quality was very poor. The little ball inside that makes the whistle loud is a cheap rubber see threw ball that is not a solid circular ball this does not allow the whistle to be loud enough to call attention. I would recommend this product if the whistle is changed. The engraving was nice.

Not Impressed By Shopper (Augusta, GA) - November 28, 2016 I ordered this as a gift for my sons football coach since he's been given every plaque and trophy under the sun. I was very disappointed in quite a few things with the personalization. The whistle wasn't exceptional quality but I didn't expect it to be. The personalization quality was awful. The first 2 letters of "Coach" are barely visible (not stamped/etched deep enough) compared to the other letters. On both sides the personalization isn't centered. Disappointed to say the least.

Off-center. otherwise nice I bought this as a gift for my boss who's coaching his son's soccer team for the first time. It was a good idea, but the engraving on both sides is pretty off-center. This is most disappointing because I was afraid this would happen since the engraving as pictured showed it would be engraved off-center. I initiated a chat with the customer service department and was ASSURED that everything would be perfectly centered. Well, it's not. I'm giving the gift anyway, but I'm not as proud of it as I would be if it were actually centered the way it was promised to me.

Looks Nice But... By Shopper (little egg harbor, NJ) - May 12, 2012 The Good: Easy to order, personalize, and follow tracking. Looks very nice and product comes quickly very nicely packaged. The not so good: The whistle is lame. I bought this for 4 football coaches and I emailed the seller before I purchased it, asking about the whistle because of another review from a buyer. Well, the other buyer (not the seller who said the whistle was normal)was right. It sounds (not looks) like a plastic whistle that came in a cereal box.

Coach Ward's Whistle A little disappointed in the quality of the product.The edge of the whistle was scratched and the engraving was off centered. If not for the fact that it was a gift that needed to be given as soon as possible by a bunch of kids to their coach, I would have returned it.

Looks nice, doesn't work well The whistle looks really nice, engraving came out well. My boyfriend really loved it but the sound of the whistle it is very weak. Looks great but the quality of the actual whistle is poor.
