A Polished Look This is such a lovely way to welcome people into our home! It's hard to tell on the website, but the surface of the plaque is polished, which offsets the roughness of the slate. Looks far more expensive than it was! Neutral colors are great, too -- will fit any decor.

Beautiful Plaque I had been looking for a family name plaque for some time, and this is the first one that I really liked the look of. I had the top line to say "Established" and our year of marriage. The only problem that I have with the plaque is that the background color for the initial appears to be black in the picture--but mine actually has a reddish tint. However, I love the plaque so much that I decided I can be happy with the color!

Great Slate though one thing i wasnt happy about It's a great sign, real slate, but does have a shiny film over it like maybe they added to much shiny finish on it to cover that its actually just a print, but overall i love it, decent size, wish it looked a little more real though.

Slate plaque I love the looks of this plaque. It is much thinner and more delicate compared to other slate plaques I have had in the past. Leather cord is not very thick either, soI repaced it with a thicker one. Good buy for $25.

Nice name plate It’s very nice price is great but it’s not so heavy so when smacking the door by mistake it brakes if it could be made a little ticker it would be a heavier plate and will not be easy to breaks

Very nice but fragile By Shopper (HANOVER, PA) - December 7, 2018 This item turned out better than expected. I purchased it in "Bark" and was very happy with the rich color and sharpness. You should know that it is fairly heavy. My only concern is that I believe it to be fairly fragile. If it is dropped or just bangs against something hard it most likely will crack or have a corner chipped. A concern for outdoor display is the wind could knock it around and break it. Probably better indoors. A very nice item if you have a safe place to display it.
